Lead QA Engineers own end-to-end program testing including driving quality automation initiatives and reports to senior stakeholders on designated projects. You will utilize your deep technical expertise and skillset by representing testing in overall project management by specifying and driving progress towards testing activities, milestones, and timelines. Lead QA Engineers identify Issues, risks and mitigation strategies related to testing. This role independently develops scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing software solutions in highly complex projects and/or product(s) by analyzing integration points, data flows, personas, authorization schemes and environments. Lead QA Engineers develop regression suites, automation scenarios, and move automation to an agile continuous testing model. Lead QA Engineers model a growth mindset by mentoring and guiding QA team members in growing their skillsets and performing functional testing, non-functional testing and other testing activities. This role communicates the role of Software Testing, the value it adds to the business and partners with all levels of leadership to educate and influence on specific Software Testing services. About the role Develop software programs in order to test code and applications and have a passion for quality processes. Have in-depth knowledge and subject matter expertise in managing functional testing, automating client application and qualification of the client-side applications. Interact with internal and external teams to train them on the products, work on projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and reproduce issues. Design Automated framework using Selenium WebDriver. Automated data quality solutions and tooling About You: You're fit for the role of Lead QA Engineer if: Years of Experience: 10 - 15 Years Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automation tests or similar in Java or other Object-Oriented languages Experience with test management tools and is comfortable with writing test plans and test cases. Experience testing Web Applications in cross-browser and cross-device manually as well using automated test tools Experience working with and developing automated test scripts using Gherkin and BDD framework. Proficient and have a solid understanding of Selenium. A strong understanding of techniques for exploratory testing Able to work independently with minimal direction and guidance to achieve goals Experience using Agile Methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills (ability to communicate effectively with technical staff, Business Analysts, management, and business team members) Experience with Salesforce and databases is a good to have.
