Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Performs routine daily operations, troubleshooting for LSEG managed systems and applications globally ensuring correct referral and escalation of issues. To ensure that business critical task checklists are followed and that all scheduled events are completed correctly in a timely and efficient manner. To identify and report deficiencies in systems, services, and procedures, and ensure that corrective actions identified are completed. To produce daily reports of the incidents, changes, and Service Tasks. Participate in Project related activities to meet operational needs. To ensure knowledge Articles of all supported systems is continually updated. To provide a high level of customer service, whilst working under pressure. To follow and adhere to established Incident Management and Problem Management procedures. To raise tickets with SaaS vendors and bring them to resolution. Required Skill Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience 1-2 years’ experience in computer system operations for Junior role Experienced with Linux and Windows based operating systems and basic Networking concepts. Minimum knowledge and understanding of financial markets are desirable. ITIL Foundation certification is desirable. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both verbal and written. Ability to act rapidly and logically under pressure and make effective use of others in resolving problems. Ability to manage own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision. Willingness to make changes to improve operational efficiency through innovation. Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a positive pro-active attitude to work. Customer and service focused, with determination to meet their needs and expectations.
