We're URGENTLY seeking Payroll & Salaries Administrator - 4 Months Contract - Tygervalley (Cape Town)Must have SAP/PaySpace system, e.g. processing the employee appointments, terminations, transfers and promotions experienceMUST be currently living in Cape TownDuties & ResponsibilitiesThe Salary Administrator is responsible for performing all activities related to the processing of payroll salaries, gratuities, garnishments, deductions, cheques and direct deposits, in accordance with established policies, procedures and controls.Provide a cost-effective salaries administration service compliant with corporate governance and in market statutory requirements.Payroll is processed in compliance with in-market specific legislation & industry regulations.Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and corporate governance.All work met with prescribed standards for quality and quantity.Provides an effective and efficient salary administration service to meet the HR department requirements.Accurately and timeously perform the preparation from SNOW and processing of the monthly payroll i.e. accurate capturing of information onto the SAP/PaySpace system, e.g. processing the employee appointments, terminations, transfers and promotions.Monthly Payroll Checking’s and audits accurately.All monthly payments completed accurately and timeously.Actioned general office administration and achieved housekeeping and safety objectives.Follow-up and proactively resolve queries & escalate issues, where required.Consistently applied / complied with practices and standards (SOPs).Fulfil a coordination role between payroll and human resources, to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.Desired Experience & QualificationA relevant qualification in HR or associated with payroll. Certified payroll professional designation preferred.Package & RemunerationMinimum of 3 years' payroll experienceProven proficiency in relevant payroll softwareExperience must include:Detailed knowledge of employee tax and regulationsProficiency in relevant payroll softwareStrong skills in using and understanding the flow of transactions in an integrated and automated payroll accounting system.Must have excellent financial analytical skills with ability to interpret and present financial data.Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
