We are looking for someone to work closely with our product owners to help shape and build the future of our Marketing ecosystem.You'll need to havestrong backend skills and be familiar with modern frameworks like Symfony or Laravel, complemented with experience with Drupal 7, 8, and 9. More important than specific technical skills though is that you’re a strong problem solver who loves to learn — we’re not experts in everything and we don’t expect you to be either.You know great architecture and design when you see it and you know when something isn’t up to par. Details matter to you, and if something is off — you will go to the end of the universe to figure out why. We just care about what you can do and how you do it. We’re all just makers and tinkerers, so as long as you love to build awesome stuff you’ll fit right in.

Key Responsibilities:Responsible for a team of approximately 5-8 developers (senior and mid-level)Working with the Solution Architects in recommending and building new solutionsResponsible for analysis of current programs including performance diagnosis and troubleshooting of issuesProvide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problemsAnalyse system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for teamProvide guidance to all members of the team and mentoring where requiredResponsible for performing proof-of-concept of new payment method integrations to extract the workflow of the product in coordination with Systems AnalystsResearch and recommend software tools to management depending on business needsDisplays analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAbility to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAble to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teamsThe role requires being available for on call support as requiredYou’d spend most of your time developing and improving existing projects, for example:Building front-facing websites and pages based on provided technical and functional specificationsImplementing different strategies for existing products and tools based on requirementsTaking part in new payment provider integrationsWe’d also do a ton of work together like:Architecting and developing new featuresPrototyping and evaluating potential implementationsMeeting business stakeholders to understand the problems they wish to addressYou would spend a lot of time programming, brainstorming on challenging problems and prototyping different ideas. You wouldn’t be just churning through tickets in the backlog — you’d be helping to design entirely new products, figuring out what exactly we’re even building and why.While being a somewhat big company, we’re split into small teams which means that even though we each have our areas of expertise, we all wear many hats. We’re looking for a programmer, but you’d also help out with things like:Writing and improving the documentation for the products and tools we makeHelping customer support answer customer questionsMaintaining the ownership of our product, and assisting in troubleshooting production incidentsTake part in OOH on-call application support rota.
