To provide an efficient and effective credit origination, approval, and management process in respect of the allocated Corporate Investment Banking portfolio (Consumer). Develop and maintain co-operative relationships between all stakeholders in the CIB credit value chain, ensuring the appropriate, timely and effective management of the allocated portfolio, while assisting with skills dissemination to others, as well as investment in one’s own growth.Credit origination and evaluation:Review and understand complex transactions to facilitate an effective risk assessment, thereby gaining an understanding of risk impacts. Analyse credit applications to assess whether the credit risk is in line with the Bank’s Credit Appetite and relative to the profitability of the deal. To ensure comprehensive credit risk structuring and that the origination of new deals is completed within risk appetite and agreed turnaround times for the CIB Consumer Credit Risk team.
Ensure the appropriate and effective management of allocated portfolio:Apply knowledge of Credit policies and practices, and proactively identify and communicate key risks as they arise.
Ensure efficient and effective internal and external stakeholder engagement: Proactively develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Build and develop relationships across the firm with various stakeholders, with the intention of breaking down silos to maximise business growth.
