Fire Pump Technician Qualifications: Experience, Knowledge in Fire pump & Fire protection system equipment Good English communication Age between 25-45 years old.
Work Scope / Job Responsibilities: Performs repair and maintenance on fire pumps, dry valves, pre-action, and sprinkler systems.
Servicing, maintenance and installation of fire water system including fire water pumps, fire water network, and associated equipment to ensure that they conform to applicable civil standards.
Perform site inspections on mechanical & electrical panel installations & wiring .
Accomplish the maintenance and repairs of water-based sprinkler/suppression systems and other equipment that is a component part of the overall fire protection system.
Provide solution to any electrical problems or failures in assigned systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems necessary for proper maintenance.
Performs inspection, testing, commissioning and maintenance of fire protection systems Utilizes various hand tools, shop tools, and equipment in accomplishing repairs and maintenance of these systems and components.
Troubleshoots repairs or replaces defective components of the water-based sprinkler system, Fire Pumps, Standpipe, Water storage tanks, pump controllers/panels, water flow and tamper devices.
Complete knowledge overhauling of pumps and engines as per NFPA standards.
Requests and maintains accountability for parts, tools, equipment and materials required for work performance and work assignments.
Perform any other tasks requested in order to assure the project facility is properly maintained.
