Job Description:
As an Accounts Executive at our prestigious aluminum fabrication company in Dubai, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments********Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly********Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors********Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection from clients and resolving any discrepancies********Financial Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements********Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts********Generate reports on financial status and present findings to management********Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards********Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information********Cost Management:
Monitor and control company expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities********Conduct variance analysis and report on financial performance against budgets********Taxation:
Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax-related documentation********Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations********Bank Reconciliation:
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records********Collaboration:
Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support overall business operations********Liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field********Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus********Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the manufacturing or construction industry********Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations in the UAE********Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel********Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills********Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
