Job Title: F&B Executive

Reports to: Restaurant Manager
Job Summary
The F&B Executive is responsible for overseeing the service operations in the restaurant while ensuring excellent guest experiences. The role combines the duties of a senior waitress with those of a hostess, ensuring that guests are greeted warmly, seated promptly, and served in a professional and efficient manner. The individual will also assist in managing the waitstaff and providing guidance and training to junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive, assist with seating arrangements, and ensure they feel comfortable.
Customer Service: Provide attentive, high-quality service throughout the guests' dining experience. Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints swiftly and professionally.
Taking Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders, communicate them to the kitchen staff, and ensure timely service.
Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about the menu, including daily specials, and provide recommendations to guests when needed.
Supervision: Oversee waitstaff, ensuring that all team members follow restaurant protocols and deliver excellent service.
Training and Mentorship: Assist in training junior waitstaff and maintain high service standards.
Table Management: Ensure that tables are cleaned and reset promptly after guests leave. Manage table turnover efficiently to minimize guest wait times.
Coordination with Kitchen and Bar: Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
Billing: Provide bills to guests, process payments, and ensure accurate billing records.
Upselling: Promote restaurant specials, additional beverages, and desserts to increase sales.
Appearance: Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and ensure that the waitstaff follows dress code standards.
Health and Safety: Ensure that all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met consistently.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience as a waitress, hostess, or in a similar role (minimum 3-4 years of experience preferred).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
Leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Ability to handle point-of-sale (POS) systems for order entry and billing.
Fluency in [specific languages required for the restaurant] is a plus.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced restaurant environment.
Requires long hours of standing and walking.
Weekend and evening shifts are often required.
