About Us:
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as waiters.
Job Summary:
As a waiter you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a delightful dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, and has a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure that orders are accurate.
- Monitor guests’ dining experience to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments, handle cash, and provide guests with accurate bills.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables and ensuring a tidy environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies and health and safety regulations.
- Assist in preparing the restaurant for service, including setting up tables, polishing glassware, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Continuously improve knowledge of the restaurant’s menu and beverages to make informed recommendations to guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
