Previous experience in metal fabrication estimation, project management, or a relevant field.
In-depth knowledge of metal fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team and under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
1)Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
2)Source and obtain quotes from metal suppliers, subcontractors, and other vendors for materials, fabrication services, and additional resources required for the project.
3)Prepare detailed and competitive proposals for potential projects, ensuring that all costs are accurately calculated and accounted for and coordinating with the sales team in obtaining sufficient leads to generate a comprehensive proposal.
4) Collaborate with the design department and estimation manager to identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering without compromising product quality or performance.
5)Monitor project costs throughout the fabrication process, comparing actual costs vs estimated costs and identifying any variances. Generate regular reports and updates on demand.
6)Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, leads, proposals, and other project-related documentation in drives.
