Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Engineer with experience in overseeing structural and HVAC aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the construction process, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements while delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
• Construction planning and execution for structural and HVAC systems, integrating design concepts into construction activities.
• Collaborate closely with design teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design specifications during construction.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment required for structural and HVAC installation.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with performance standards and design specifications.
• Mentor junior construction team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on structural and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, methods, and best practices related to structural and HVAC installations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects in Dubai or similar markets.
• Experience in design, with proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit, or similar.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
