Title and Summary Project Management Intern, Internship Program 2024- Dubai, United Arab Emirates Mastercard Intern Program The Mastercard Intern Program is a comprehensive program where students will gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives. Across the 10 weeks, you’ll jump into experiencing work life at Mastercard whilst gaining valuable professional experience and the opportunity to network. Program Components - Impactful assignments that drive business results. - Networking sessions and leadership speaker’s series. - Volunteer and team building experiences. - A capstone project to report your achievements and findings What you’ll do : You will join the Mastercard Technology team to support on innovative projects. This team focuses on understanding the Tech needs of the region, be they regulatory driven or market driven and delivering localized tech solutions to the region. In addition, the team focuses on driving operational excellence for our customers. As an intern, you will experience the breath of the Regional Tech function and will be involved in activities such as: • Localization Projects – delivering localized tech solution to a market • Operational Excellence – understand the components of high performing technology and how Mastercard engages customers to achieve operational excellence • Tech Thought Leadership events – keeping our customers CIOs / CTOs abreast of the ever- changing payment tech landscape • Studio Process – be part of the product development lifecycle committee from a Tech perspective and learn what is required to bring a product to market What you’ll need for Summer Internship To be available to work Full-Time between approx. Earlu -June to End-August 2024 A Penultimate Masters/Undergraduate Student, due to graduate between Dec-2024 and Aug-2025. Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management/Computer Science or Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Business Informatics/MIS with a minimum predicted classification of a UK 2.1 or equivalent GPA of 3.0. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with analytical and problem-solving capability and a strong strategic conceptual aptitude, whilst being customer centric. Passionate to learn and seek knowledge about Business Analysis/ Payments/ Software Development Life Cycle/ Agile and Scrum. English Language skills to a professional standard. Arabic Language skills to a professional standard.
