AECOM is seeking Bridge Engineers to be based in Dubai / Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Bridge Engineer will be responsible to produce the design information and coordinate with the CAD/BIM technicians for the drawings production. Design will be carried out in accordance with AASHTO LRFD, Eurocodes, AREMA and or any other international design code as applicable. He/She may be assigned, if required, to undertake some site inspections.Job DutiesAssist with the development of design concepts, carrying out detailed design of bridges, underpasses, rail structures and other infrastructure structures.Produce detailed design information including calculations and design sketches.Liaise with CAD/BIM Technician for production of drawings.Plan and carry out site inspections of structures, if required.Prepare technical reports.Carry out risk assessments and provision of design information for Health and Safety file.Inspection, assessment and strengthening of road/rail bridges and other structures.Report writing and production of technical reports and documents.Specific Skills RequiredMust have minimum relevant experience between 2 to 8 years of hands on experience in design of Bridges, underpasses and other infrastructure structures.
