The Role As a Security Technologist Specialist, you thrive on collaborating with your team to design and deliver superior security and network experiences for our customers. Talk to us about how a role could be flexible for you!       A core function of your role will be providing Level 3 operational support for Internal business security networks including related technologies, IP Security, Firewalls and diverse IP networks. This role has a requirement for complex routing, switching, load balancing and a focus/specialisation on IP Security and IP Firewalls (Cisco/Juniper/F5/Check Point/PaloAlto).      Key Responsibilities  Solve problems requiring analytical thinking and apply specialised technical practices and techniques  Where appropriate, act as a leading subject matter expert in the architecture of a complex customer/customers communications network/s  Through teamwork with relevant groups, both internal and external  Promote teamwork, communication and information sharing, documentation, and reporting  Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the platforms managed within the group by actively following up any network or performance issues that may arise  Improve procedures within the platforms managed by the Network Security Operations group.  Perform ITIL problem management techniques to detect and remove underlying causes of customer impacting issues  Accurately record/update incident/problem management systems on network alerts, faults and assigned tickets  Conduct network changes for the integration of new network products, services, features, technologies, and processes whistling ensuring a minimal amount of disruption to customer services  Provide escalation support for complex network and customer faults both during and after business hours  Participate in an after-hours rostered recall 24x7 or planned works as required      Key experience and expertise you would bring to the role would include:    Previous proven hands-on operational experience on networking and firewalls – 2+ years  Certification in Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco technologies highly desirable  Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills (TCP/IP, Load balancing, Firewalling etc)  The ability to coach others with your in-depth technical knowledge to drive a high-profile team to exceed in a multi-disciplined networking environment  A positive attitude towards feedback and continual improvement with Operational and Engineering  Experience in business intelligence using analytic tools such as Tableau, Splunk etc.  Experience in network automation using Python, Puppet, Javascript, Ansible, Powershell and would be highly advantageous to the position  Our perks benefits: Flexible working.
