We are now looking for a talented Event Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. In this role, you will contribute to the overall delivery of the host broadcast in the form of temporary broadcast infrastructure, on-site and general coordination, including acting as a primary contact point for numerous event suppliers, briefing and procuring the hire equipment needed to build the Australian Open ensuring Tennis Australia delivers world class facilities at the AO and other events as relevant. About the role Reporting into the Manager, Broadcast Media Operations in this role you will: Coordination and delivery of broadcast media temporary infrastructure e.g., oversee, develop, document and action timelines and project plans for various operational areas, focusing primarily on general set up Occupational Health Safety requirements such as coordinating and acting as a contact for safety inspections and general supervision of contractors and suppliers on-site, liaising with the TA Safety and Risk team and ensuring all OHS policies are always adhered to Delivery of various operational activities, acting as a liaison with event operations teams, coordinating broadcast media operational, on-site and some general event arrangements Distribution and deployment of fit-out plans e.g., coordinating the development of suitable designs, overlays and layouts for various on-site broadcast operations facilities including any required building code regulations and broadcast client considerations Coordinate and lead the Design and Infrastructure team in conjunction with the Broadcast Media Infrastructure Specialist Procurement and administrative support including coordination of broadcast media infrastructure, logistics and operational quotations and ordering, including negotiating with suppliers, obtaining detailed quotations and invoices, data input and cost management About you What you will bring to the role: Strong knowledge of either construction, event operations or the broadcast industry Proven experience and skills in event planning and facilitation of temporary event overlay Strong negotiation, budget coordination and administration skills with high attention to detail Highly developed computer literacy with experience in the use of databases and a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Adobe, MS Project, Powerpoint and Outlook) Valid Construction Induction Card (or willingness to obtain) Forklift EWP license is desirable You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check What’s in it for you?
