You will be a champion of industry best-practice within the organisation, advocating for technologies that can improve the way we work · You will part of passionate agile teams focused on building the maturity to existing and new QA automation libraries and frameworks covering functional, integration, usability, accessibility, performance and security test automation · Releasing new and functional builds at any point through the application’s life cycle. · Be a part of Agile teams and help deliver sprint goals · Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and task estimation Help coach with wider team on fail first testing methods and achieve and maintain high quality standards · You may be asked to perform out-of-hours support task Ideal candidate traits and skills: · Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent · 5+ years of experience of developing and implementing fail fast test automation strategies, solutions, frameworks and tests across the development lifecycle and in turn supporting rapid development of automated tests to integrate in CI/CD pipeline · Previous experience in automated tests. Ex.: APIs, WEB, mobile, desktop apps · Good to have knowledge in building automation tests in anyone Robot/Specflow/Selenium/Playwright/Cypress/Gherkins etc · Have experience with load testing practices and tools like k6 · Experience in API Testing using Postman and Swagger · Experience in behaviour driven development (BDD) · Experience working in CI/CD with tools such as GitHub Action · Experience with version control systems such as GitHub · Understands technologies and techniques used in the support of applications logging, monitoring and alerting · Experience in design, planning and execution of functional testing · Proficiency in defects and bug analysis, as well as reporting, tracking, and retesting · Strong attention to detail; · Strong analytical and diagnosis skills; · Excellent planning and organization skills · Good communication skills, written and verbal to interact with key stakeholders. · Experience working in agile environments, Scrum; Other Skills: · An excellent team player, balanced with strong autonomy and high motivation to deliver and lead · An out-of-the-box-thinker with an open mind who is intrigued by new ideas and innovative solutions · Working proactively to learn new technologies and is an inspiration to team and colleagues · Knowledge or working experience in an eCommerce domain would be an added advantage A.P.
