[What the role is] ASSISTANT ENGINEER, TRAFFIC SCHEMES DESIGN DEVELOPMENT (CIVIL) [What will you be working on] You will be involved in site assessment and surveys to develop traffic and road safety engineering plans. You will review traffic plans related to planned and operational changes to the existing roads. You need to be able to read and produce drawings for traffic schemes and special projects in the form of a plan for approval/consultation purpose; from the sketches, using MicroStation and drafting support on technical drawings for traffic schemes. The AE has to ensure and check that the design of the traffic scheme is done in accordance with LTA’s Guidelines / Standards. This is a dynamic career for those who are technically trained and people oriented. [What we are looking for] Diploma or Higher NITEC / Nitec in Engineering Competent in MicroStation, Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word Able to read sketch and timely produce drawing for traffic schemes and special projects File and update traffic schemes records Resourceful, independent, and self-motivated with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment A team player with good interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills [What will you be working on] You will be involved in site assessment and surveys to develop traffic and road safety engineering plans.
