About the job
In this role, you’ll join the Experimentation and Platform Orchestration Teams, which is part of the Customer AI pillar of Twilio Data Apps. You will contribute to our fledgling Experimentation offering, which will allow our customers to experiment with their Audiences, Journeys, Broadcasts, and other portions of their CDP to understand what choices help them best reach their business goals.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:

Work with our UX Designers and Product Managers to design and build the customer experience for our Experimentation systems in Twilio Engage
Build highly scalable and robust APIs to create experiments, and interact with experiments.
Collaborate with teams across the engineering organization to understand and implement a growing set of requirements.
Participate in an on-call rotation to support our business-critical infrastructure

Required:

5+ years of experience writing production level web applications and/or customer facing web SDKs
5+ years of experience frontend software engineering
Strong experience in Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS
Experience in Web Components, React/JSX, Vue, Angular, or equivalent UI frameworks
Experience in browser APIs and optimizing frontend performance
Experience in automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
Solid verbal and written communication skills, and able to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders in English
A healthy ability to manage and resolve conflict - you have the ability to listen, present, and question effectively
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience

Location
This role will beremote and based in the U.S.but is not eligible to be hired in CA or NY.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

Based in Colorado: $132,000- $165,000.
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
