Introduction
Coordinate and manage maintenance on all electrical appliances and equipment to ensure full time operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Production and operational efficiency
• Attend to electrical breakdowns.
• Complete new electrical installations as required by Maintenance manager.
• Maintain and clean electrical panels, isolators and DOL starters.
• Maintain and repair electrical motors and equipment.
• Isolate electrical equipment as required.
• Attend monthly training as per training schedule.
• Assist with maintenance and other duties as required by management.
• Maintain company housekeeping standards during daily plant operations.
• Maintain good timekeeping practices.
• Arrive for shift on time.
• Timely tea and lunch breaks.
• Good leave management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Electrician trade test.
• Skills
• Working at heights.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Ability to learn.

Qualification:
Welding Qualification
3+ years experience in Mining industry

Matric certificate or equivalent.
Red Seal trade certificate as a Boilermaker.
Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding, preferably within the mining industry.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Fabricate, assemble, and install steel structures and components for mining plant equipment.
Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on various machinery, including welding and metal fabrication.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
Field Service duties and responsibilities on site.
Must be able and willing to travel.
