Work Flexibility: Hybrid What you will do We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial control, reporting, internal control, treasury management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, developing culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to finance team members. To contribute in deriving functional excellence by playing a key role in Month End Closing, US GAAP Reporting, Technical Accounting, Account Reconciliations and Review, training new resources, driving project etc. Financial Reporting and Controlling: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely Statutory financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Conduct regular financial reviews to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial records. Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reflected in JDE. Partner with Hong Kong Finance Center and outsourced service provider (CapGemini) to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing and reporting of all financial information, including balance sheet reconciliation. Owning the Intercompany accounting and reconciliation process including both execution and review aspects. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of OTC (Order to cash), PTP (Procure to Pay), RTR (Record to Report) Manage internal external audit processes. Ensure timely completion of Statutory, Cost and other Audits including dealing with auditors. Manage DOA (Delegation of Authority) process. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Assess the impact of accounting standard changes on financial statements and provide recommendations to ensure compliance. Manage TE processes including related policy, system (Concur), corporate card (AMEX) maintenance, User training, and exception monitoring. Continuously assess and enhance the month-end close process, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency. Implement best practices to streamline procedures and reduce the closing cycle time. Collaborated with regional teams for assessment of technical and complex accounting transaction. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet established deadlines for financial reporting. Financial Analysis – Provide and present meaningful, concise and clear analysis, including variance analysis to senior management on financial issues and performances (actual versus budget/forecast/ prior quarters etc.). Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and Providing insights to stakeholder across organization. Implement and monitor financial policies and procedures in alignment with the corporate Policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Develop implementation plans for new policies or updates to existing policies. Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and organized rollout of policy changes. Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance workflows of the company. Working closely with IT team on India specific development requirement Support and/or lead the Implementation of strategic project and initiatives. To be the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and ensure the pre-work, UAT and related matters are timely completed. SOX, Internal Controls and FCPA (Working knowledge only) Preparation of /Updating the Process Narratives, Periodic Control Testing and Walkthroughs (Self-Assessment), Testing of System Generated reports. Co-coordinating the Corporate and other Internal Audits. Monitoring of FCPA compliances including periodic health checks for the same. Working knowledge of ICFR and SOX is essential. Stay abreast of changes in regulations and industry best practices to update internal control procedures accordingly. Accounts Payable Oversee the accounts payable function and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and receipts. Manage and improve Hight Risk Payment process (operation enhancement) Competencies Chartered Accountant with 10 years of experience (minimum 4-5 years in people’s manager role) in financial management, with a strong understanding of financial principles, reporting, and control. Having Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles. This role calls for an ambitious self-starter willing to grow in the organization. Confident and articulate presentation, analytical, quantitative and communication skills a requisite. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
