In this position, your main responsibility is to complete Preventative Maintenance fluid and filter changes, greasing, plus any troubleshooting and minor repairs on a variety of Caterpillar equipment primarily in the field. Our ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and appliances. In this position of Field Service Preventative Maintenance Lubrication Technician you will be responsible for completing Preventative Maintenance fluid and filter changes, greasing, plus any troubleshooting and minor repairs on a variety of Caterpillar equipment primarily in the field. Descripción del cargo: Inspect equipment and systems to identify any issues Repair faulty equipment units Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures Plan and schedule repairs Perform general maintenance tasks Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies Qualifications Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician is a minimum requirement equivalent qualification Certified Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal) would be considered an asset Previous experience with Caterpillar equipment/engines Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset Valid Driver’s license. Any other relevant training as required would be considered an asset such as: o WHMIS o H2S Alive o Fall Protection o Forklift o Overhead Crane o Eye, Hand and Back Safety o Transportation of Dangerous goods o Contamination control Notes: What We Offer: This position is on a Mon-Fri 5x2 shift rotation at our Regina Branch. This position will require travel. It will be servicing a wide region around Regina.
