Job Description Responsible for performing system engineering and field services for automation process control projects based on Distributed Control Systems (DCS), programmable controllers, drives, motor control centers, operator/field device, instrumentation, etc. Designs moderate to complex architectures, and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems. Responsibilities - Responsible for performing system engineering and field services for automation process control projects based on Distributed Control Systems (DCS), programmable controllers, drives, motor control centers, operator/field devices, instrumentation etc. - Designs moderate to complex architectures and/or prepares studies and analyzes existing systems. This includes system design, system engineering, software programming, factory and site testing. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. - Attend to process automation projects of PlantPAx DCS, Logix Systems, PowerFlex drives, FT View, FTHistorian, AssetCentre platforms. - Be a contributing part of a project team, with high flexibility to accommodate to changes and accept challenges. Multitasking profile which main activities will be to execute engineering, design, programming, testing and site services. Qualifications: - 2+ years experience in DCS software development. Leaded and participated in large and complex projects on the Process Industry - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial - Advanced English language communication - oral and written; - Site installation and commissioning leading experience, including mounting and electrical subcontractors supervision; Automation/Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent. - Willing and able to travel and work at customer sites when needed. Travel can vary on assignment but can typically average 50% Preferred Qualifications - -Rockwell Automation products experience (PlantPAx, Logix, Drives, Software, Industrial Components) - Experience with VMWare environments / networking and industrial communication protocols; - Network / Engineering certifications; - Process Safety experience (SIS, ESD, FG, BMS) - Project Management experience and understanding of best practices. #LI-EV1 Rockwell Automation, Inc.
