Job Description: Job Title: TSCO - Clearing and Settlement Analyst - Senior Analyst Location: Manila Corporate Title: Senior Analyst CIB-Operations is dedicated to supporting our business in their goal to build long-term, sustainable relationships with the Bank’s key institutional clients, while delivering strong returns to stakeholders. This is done by ensuring that business activities are carried out in an efficient, controlled and timely manner. The role of CIB-Operations covers a wide range of activities. Following the buying and selling of financial products and services by the bank, we ensure that each transaction is captured accurately and in a timely manner to ensure effective risk management, cleared, documented and confirmed, settled and reconciled, all within a tightly controlled environment in adherence with global regulatory requirements. You can expect Competitive Salary Attractive Retirement Benefit Medical and Life Insurance upon employment 20 days Annual Vacation Leaves Your key responsibilities Handle processes for listed derivatives mainly covering settlements; Be responsible for trade date to settlement date processes; should be able to develop expertise on the process over time (pre-matching and confirmation, trade processing, cash transfer, instruction routing, depot and inventory management, funding and settlement monitoring) and post-settlement date processes (fails management and reconciliations) Support interfaces with different internal and external stakeholders (front office, clients, brokers, Nostro agents, exchanges and clearing houses) involved in the settlement process chain, according to the market standards Engage with Japan-domiciled clients and external counterparties on a daily basis and handle settlement related queries Assist lead in monitoring daily completion of tasks and propose/drive changes via process improvements or digitalization to ensure to help meet operational targets Work with onshore stakeholders and other internal teams to resolve issues encountered relating to settlement process, systems, etc. Your skills and experience Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Finance course or its equivalent Experience in stakeholders management from the Financial Services, Investment Banking or Commercial Banking industry Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to cater to demanding stakeholders A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently How we’ll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career Coaching and support from experts in your team A culture of continuous learning to aid progression About us and our teams Deutsche Bank is the leading German bank with strong European roots and a global network.
