Key Responsibilities

Data Collection

Design and implement Taroworks forms and other data capturing tools to capture field data Build capacity of 30 field agents to ensure the quality of data 

Database Management

Design reports and views in Salesforce to monitor incoming data. Check for errors and inconsistencies and develop effective processes for cleaning dataResearch and implement tools to automatically send signed Delivery Notes to schools

Data Evaluation and Reporting

Analyze incoming data from deliveries and installations to help with management decisions and to help improve operationsSupport in monitoring and updating the salesforce with current and accurate information.

Monitoring and Evaluation (ME) function

Ensure all agents are trained on proper ME protocolsParticipate in development of the ME strategy for keystone strengtheningPerform basic analysis and reporting on findings of M+E exercises for decision makingRegular field visits to monitor installation, maintenance repair, functionality and use of the water treatment systems. Design and supervise additional small-scale studies to evaluate functionality of systems and usageSupport in monitoring the submission of all MIS/ME field data as assigned.Support in development and implementation of the MIS/ME budget.Support in the development and review of MIS/ME tools-both paper and digital.

Research Function

Support piloting of new technologies and digital/traditional outreach to assess cost-effectiveness and improved usage

Position Requirements/ Selection criteria

Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in an ME position responsible for implementing ME activitiesExperience inDesigning and implementing surveys at scale, Managing incoming data from a large field team Evaluating data to improve strategic planning and performance measurementKnowledge of Salesforce Taroworks is an advantageExceptional Microsoft Excel and Data Management skillsAbility to train and supervise 30 Field AgentsMust be able to travel 10% of the time to visit schools across KenyaExcellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills Strong attention to detail.Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactiveExceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management and consultants / field agents
