Let’s talk about this role As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects and their defined benefits to nib. Working with Executive Sponsors, Business Owners and Product, the Senior Project Manager provides advice and expertise to guide senior leadership and enable change. Working with multiple product and platform managers, you will be responsible for leading a collaborative planning process across nib’s operations and technical teams, prioritising scope to align to project objectives, proactively managing risks and cross stream dependencies and unblocking day to day issues for the team and ensuring proper governance. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager performs task work focused on managing schedule, stakeholder communications, change, financials (cost and benefits) and Group reporting. With an emphasis on the use of Agile methods, the Senior Project Manager facilitates the effective managing and continuous improving of project delivery. The Senior Project Manager actively participates in the Agile delivery community; sharing and re-applying skills and knowledge, coaching teams on Agile tools and techniques and bringing in best practice across the organisation. Let’s talk about you You have proven experience within a similar role, a track record of successful project delivery using different methodologies, while leading and delivering agile projects, turning principles into practices for the team’s specific needs. You are experienced in tying together various delivery teams across the orgnaisation to deliver transformational programs of work. Furthermore, we’re looking for: Relevant tertiary degree qualification in a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience Experience working with product management and delivery teams. Experience engaging with Senior Stakeholders Ability to influence in a matrix environment Ability to conduct large group workshops and present to all levels of the organisation Willingness to keep up to date with developments in project management, product delivery / information technology and the insurance industry Formal training and certification in Agile project management and/ product delivery methodologies and standards (preferred) Advanced level computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Jira, Confluence, Monday, Miro Exposure to the health insurance or health care industry (desired) Ability to travel to other nib offices, as required for stakeholder engagement and project activities At nib, we recognise that some people may only apply when their education, skills and/or experiences are identical to what an employer is looking for in a candidate.
