The purpose of the role is to ensure the availability and integrity of financial statements and reports that accurately reflect all financial transactions of the business. The position reports directly to the General Manager: Finance RESPONSIBILITIESManage the Credit Controller and Creditors Clerk.Implement development plans for subordinates to maximize efficiency and achieve company strategies and goals.Reconcile all balance sheets, including bank reconciliations.Review creditor’s reconciliations for accuracy.Manage petty cash and conduct regular reconciliations.Continuously monitor reconciliation processes to ensure correctness.Prepare weekly and monthly management reports with necessary journal entries.Manage historical and forecast cash flow reporting.Provide detailed financial information to support team actions as highlighted in reporting.Prepare annual financial statements using CaseWare.Improve Financial Reporting to enhance decision-making.Review and reconcile earnings and hours for both wages and salaries before payment, including reconciling payroll variances between actual and budget/forecast.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSGrade 12 or equivalent with maths.Compt / BCom Accounting/ finance – Honours degree;Articles will be an advantage.3 years experience as a Financial Accountant in a corporate environment.Financial monitoring and analysis;Innovative;
