The WMS Supervisor is responsible for the support of the Chile Distribution Center (CDC) and other as necessary, through the administration, configuration, and analysis of the WMi Manhattan Associates Warehouse Management System.The WMS Supervisor will provide general maintenance and recommend system enhancements on WMS software and other software components in a semi-automated facility.Improves productivity and efficiency of the organizationPropose solutions to improve Distribution Center fulfillmentDesign and Testing of the proposed solutions on both technical and business complianceAnalyze, develop, prepare and implement the most efficient and cost-effective solutionsFacilitates and advises users on best solutions/practices to reduce to a minimum the manual and repetitive tasks to increase quality, efficiency and productivityDaily ActivitiesDefines local business requirements for WMS software upgrades, deployment, and system configuration updatesTranslates local client and customer requirements into technical specificationsAnalyzes and performs research / problem resolution on any reported problemEvaluates system specifications to meet business requirementsMaintains various applications and WMS configurations on the IBMi platformRecommend and manage system changes including new concepts, system improvements changes with software supplierPlans a testing schedule for completing the systems operationsSupervises the implementation of new systems and report outcome to managementCreates, updates and maintains user documentation: inform users on the new functions and how to use themDocument and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and best practicesShared responsibilities for user support of various systems used in the day to day operations of the warehouse, including, but not limited to, WMS (warehouse management system from Manhattan Associates), Customs and Export applications, EDI systems, ERP interfacesAssist all departments and other onsite business partners with interfacing requests with WMS softwareWork with Inventory Management on WMS configuration and stock reconciliationsCommunicate daily with warehouse team on daily productivity
