Who are we looking for?A performance specialist with 5+ years experience of digital implementation in an agency environment across Search, Social and other channels with an emphasis on growing search accounts and online sign ups. You need to be proficient at pulling insights from Google Analytics, forecasting for multiple channels and recommending digital attribution and channel mix strategy.As such, you will need to manage and develop holistic digital services and strategy with excellent project management skills and be able to understand and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients, associates and management. You need to have the ability to prioritise multiple requests whilst driving inter-agency collaboration to achieve maximum results for your client and from your team and the ability to think and act strategically and when required out of the box. This fast paced role with a growth minded client means you can offer and speak your mind and push each channel to its full potential.What will your day look like?Your time will be split as reporting 10%, team catch ups/WIP 15%, client calls/comms 30%, planning 20%, admin 10% and proactive initiatives 15%You will be the first point of escalation for any issues that might arise on the account and ensure process is put in place and adhered to and if not you will need to troubleshoot to resolve any process issuesYou will lead planning work across the client, and develop the strategic direction into channel recommendations, tactics and solutions to deliver to business goalsYou will drive delivery of strategic and innovative media solutions for your client, helping to evaluate media responses to determine the best fit for the strategy and the most effective tactics to deliver on the objectivesYou will drive an agenda of inter-agency collaboration to achieve clients’ resultsYou will need to be able to recommend digital attribution/channel mix strategy based on data and insightsYou will ensure your Manager and Executive and are responsible for ensuring the quality of the team’s outputYou will ensure the team has an understanding of the role of digital channels in delivering on client objectivesYou will have a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationshipsYou will have the ability to manage and develop holistic digital services and strategyYou will ensure the team provides concise, timely and accurate reporting on all campaigns, including insightful commentary and learnings for future campaignsYou will have excellent project time management skills and an ability to respond quickly and effectively to clients’ needs and issuesYou will have excellent analytical skills as well as advanced knowledge of systems and industry tools-Google Analytics and Adwords (Certified), Facebook Business Manager SA360You will have a high attention to detail, with excellent communication, project, time management and organisation skills, process orientated with an ability to work effectively to multiple deadlinesYour key responsibilitiesIdentifies opportunities for business growth and cross-departmental revenue growth within the agencyStarts to recognise potential risks to the agency in terms of client relationships, agency scope of services, revenue impact and promptly communicate these risks to the relevant General Manager and/or the senior leadership teamDrives an agenda of inter-agency collaboration to achieve clients’ resultsPrepares media plan options, analyses, and recommendations based on strategic direction providedImplement plan and maintain budget control throughout the entire processResults-driven mentality; frequently evaluate performance and optimise campaigns to deliver optimum results for your clientsMonitors and enforces processes within the teamMonitors and enhances the teams efficiency and productivityManages the allocation of resources within the direct team to ensure that all accounts are adequately resourced and work is delivered in an efficient mannerStarts to consider the impact of decisions or changes on the business and raise these with management to ensure adequate responseYou are the first point of escalation for any issues that might arise on the accounts within your portfolioOptimises performance marketing campaigns across the channel mix including SEM, display, paid social, retargeting and affiliatesUtilises internal data systems to measure and report on performance and ensure goals and objectives are met across all touch-pointsExamines the full view of our client’s businesses including sales, merchandising, marketing and operations to provide data-driven insights on performance for relevant teamsEnsures the monthly resource plan is completed and provided to the Head Of Performance 3 days prior to month endSeeks out, develop and support new business opportunities – including pitchesDevelops a team vision and culture to inspire results-driven, innovative, proactive mentality within the teamEnsures the team has an understanding of the role of all media channels in delivering on client objectives.Develops the teams in depth knowledge of all digital vendors and their offeringsDevelops a team vision and culture to inspire results-driven, innovative, proactive mentalityHelps drive Stratalytics and Analytic training for the Manager/Executive and broader team to upskill and roll out best practiceCoaches, mentors and develops your Manager/Exec in the art of Performance, Stratalytics, Analytics Business SkillsDrives performance conversations and reviews with your Manager/Exec. Monthly check ins on goals and KPIs.Team Management DevelopmentYou will help facilitate deliverables and direct your direct reports to ensure tasks are completed effectivelyYou will provide coaching and leadership your team and develop and train your direct reports so they can continue in their career progression with regular check ins on their wellbeing, development and to assess performance against #GROW goals.
