Job Title: CFO Indochina Hiring Manager: CFO Asia and TMS, FBP Foundation Asia Eurasia Location: HCMC Job type: Permanent, Full time About this role The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) implements the strategy roadmap, rules, principles and tools of the Finance Function for all Sanofi activities in the Indochina multi-country organization (MCO), in accordance with local legislation, Corporate procedures, and Company requirements, with the objective of protecting the business and Company assets, in the best interest of Sanofi. As Indochina CFO Finance Business Partner (FBP) Gen Med Indochina She/He is a key member of the Indochina Leadership team Country Council. She/He is instrumental in the execution of the Business and Finance transformation while delivering financial targets. She/He will also drive Finance Strategy and in close collaboration will One Finance Teams. Job purpose As CFO FBP Gen Med Indochina : She/he is the Finance Business Partner of the General Medicines GBU for the MCO She/he ensures proper flow of financial information and clear processes and governance across activities, with SBS (A2R, CI2C and P2P) and Finance Operations She/he participates to the definition of the Finance strategy and team sizing together with Finance and business stakeholders of the Group. She/he supports the GBU and Functions stakeholders of the MCO on all related financial aspects. As such, she/he interacts regularly with the GBU Region/Community leadership team as well as with the Finance community local, regional and global. She/he is responsible for driving the performance of the MCO through the optimization of resources, assets and liabilities while minimizing risk exposure, in coordination with Finance Operations and COEs. She/he animates, builds and develops a strong local finance community and supports the development of Finance Talents. Key Accountabilities Strategy, Transformation: In alignment with the Group GBUs management, frame the strategy of the MCO in order to simplify the portfolio, optimize local presence and maximize profitability and patient reach Implements the strategy roadmap, the rules and principles of the Finance Function for all Sanofi activities in the MCO in accordance with local legislations, Corporate procedures Group requirements and with the objective to grow the business and protect Group assets. Fosters strategic thinking and partners decision making process for business development Supports Finance Company transformation (SBS/GBS and Finance Operations implementation…) Supports management in decision making processes by providing finance expertise Cooperates with the tax advisors, participates to elaboration of a strategy for tax optimization in coordination with tax teams Infuses cash flow, internal control and compliance culture across all Finance Community and business Finance Performance and Business Partnering Ensures the consistency of macro-economic hypothesis in the planning / budgeting / forecasting processes Challenges GBUs performance (beyond budget tracking) to identify risks and opportunities to dynamically re-allocate resources in the Country Prepares forward looking analyses - focusing not only on past performance, but also foreseeing Risks Opportunities in coming quarters/years with action plan proposals in order to ensure target achievements Co-pilots and challenge the business investments and resources allocation through the appropriate use of KPIs, prioritization measures and operational analysis Supports and challenges the operational management and provides advice, anticipates and monitors performance Ensures the reliability of the statutory and managerial accounts and their reporting in due time Aligns business strategies and forecasts with Manufacturing Supply/Supply Chain/RD and ensures consistency of information and data Challenges business hypothesis and ensures that forecasts are realistic from a finance point of view Leads the Budget and Forecast processes in close cooperation with Region/Global and local Heads of departments Build a Team and be in the permanent spirit of continuous improvement Leads a highly qualified and motivated team. Develops an inclusive culture and mindset and supports Diversity Inclusion Monitors efficiency in finance accounting within the group and implements necessary steps leading improvements in this area Identifies and manages key business projects, according to the company needs and ensures the successful implementation Key Features Scope: All legal entities activities within Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos A22 Gen Med sales: 90 m€ | A22 One Sanofi : ~ 300 m€ Reporting line: CFO Asia Thailand Malaysia Singapore Main working relationship One Finance: SBS, GBS, Finance Operations, Internal Control, Tax, Treasury, IFSA, General Medicines, Corporate Consolidation, Asia Eurasia Finance Teams Others: MCO Leadership team and Country Council, MCO Supply Chain, People Culture, Global Merger Acquisition About you Education and Experience: BA or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar Min. 10 years of experience in a Finance managerial/leadership (Tax, Treasury, Accounting and Business Partnering) Working experience in international environments and multicultural organizations Professional Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated inclusive leadership to serve as a leader among peers Strong business acumen and detailed pharma market knowledge Strategic thinking: Anticipate future trends, “what if scenarios”, deal with complexity, build a comprehensive business operational strategy in a context of Finance and Company transformation Strong communication skills to build commitment, create adherence and interact efficiently with senior leaders in GBUs Operational and Global Finance Teams and externally with key partners is required Excellent team player, able to think and act as One Finance and One Sanofi Strong track record of leading and coaching teams Ability to drive process improvement and changes across the organization Very good analytical skills to challenge and detect risks, draw the big picture and propose remediation or improvement actions Strong track record of leading and coaching staff to deliver superior results Excellent communication in English #LI-SEA At Sanofi diversity and inclusion is foundational to how we operate and embedded in our Core Values.
