Pena Blanca Santa Fe 01210 Ciudad de México, CMX México To ensure accurate and timely financial reporting of all company financial data, keeping with sound accounting principles and in compliance with local laws. To develop and implement work standards, controls and product enhancements to support quality improvement and efficiency._x000D_ _x000D_ Ensures that financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP, government regulations, and corporate policy practices, working with internal and external auditors to demonstrate compliance. Determines the impact of legislative and corporate changes in generally accepted accounting principles and develops and implements internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Directs monthly general ledger closing, ensuring that all financial and cash reports are available in an accurate and timely manner. Coordinates the monthly balance sheet reconciliation for the countries the person is responsible in the District and prepares explanations on variances. Leads the budget preparation for all countries in the district. Monitors proper use of funds and submits monthly treasury reports to Miami. Ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting and complies with tax accounting requirements and the filing of tax returns on a timely basis. Plans, develops and implements controls and procedures to ensure proper accounting and reporting in all major projects. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, required. Professional certification preferred. Seven (7) years professional accounting experience is required, with Management and multinational experience preferred. Knowledge of fiscal and legal requirements to support company's goals is required. Strong management, human relations, communications, and leadership skills are required. Customer service and sales-related experience are preferred. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.
