[What the role is] As a tax professional, you have tax knowledge at your fingertips and the passion to build a socially responsible taxpaying community. [What you will be working on] This role requires you to: Handle Personal Income Tax assessments that cannot be processed by the system and conduct post-assessment reviews Proactively identify opportunities and apply knowledge of relevant technology and methodologies (e.g. RPA, Data Analytics, Behavioural Insights, and Design) to automate and streamline assessment processes and improve service experience Proactively identify and source for new data sources and engage relevant stakeholders to acquire these data Keep abreast of tax developments to accurately and effectively apply the relevant tax rules including those under under Double Taxation Agreements and other schemes [What we are looking for] Relevant experience in Personal Income Tax assessment and compliance preferred Knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies (e.g. RPA, Data Analytics, Behavioural Insights, and Design) will be an added advantage Good analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills Excellent communication and writing skills Resourceful, creative and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with internal stakeholders within and across teams The successful candidate will be offered a contractual role with possibility for contract extension or permanent emplacement if assessed to be suitable.
