Mattel New Zealand are seeking an experienced and proactive Demand Planning Manager to join our Global Demand Supply Planning team. In this role you will lead all aspects of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process for Australia New Zealand, with a key focus on creating an accurate demand plan reflecting customer needs.You will bring strong analytical and problem solving abilities, a decisive and positive attitude, and strong communication skills. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team in a key role, within a fast-paced organisation where speed and agility are key.This role will commence in January 2023.As a Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for: Monitoring and adjusting product forecasts to maximize sales in different channels/customers based on forecast performance, POS/shipping trends, DFC, item productivity, and customer/consumer insights.Developing strategies to improve forecast accuracy and drive improved customer fulfillment.Managing the ANZ Demand and Supply planning team including career development and training.Reviewing and improving the current planning processes.Managing overall market inventory and leading initiatives to improve inventory health.Proactively partnering with commercial teams and improving the transparency and frequency of communications across cross functional departments.Meeting with selected key customers as required to develop joint forecasts and fill-rate improvement.Leading, motivating and managing a team of 4 direct reports, including coaching and counselling to enhance performance.
