We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Consultant to join our Learning and Development team. The Learning and Development Consultant will contribute to the high standard of development and growth of Glacier employees by designing, developing and implementing blended learning solutions and applying best-practice methodologies, practices and standards. This is a 12 months contract role based in Cape Town.Key Responsibilities Liaise with different stakeholders to ascertain the different training needs of the business;To develop, compile and maintain training manuals, records and support materials as needs arise, ensuring that material remains current and relevantTo create, schedule and deliver training programmes focused on adult learning methods and based on employee needs, business priorities and best practice that are suitable to Hybrid working environmentMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training by deploying measurement and feedback tools that track outcomes and ensure alignment of objectives as well as to assess employeesDevelop training plan that clearly shows training initiativesMake use of online e-learning tools for training purposesProvide feedback on learning to managers and employeesTo provide technical support and expertise through query resolution in support of the business in overall development of employeesAdhere to organisational best practices and legislative requirements (Skills Development Act, Employment Equity Act)Build and maintain relationships with relevant departments to ensure sufficient knowledge of related Glacier products, processes, legislations and regulatory frameworksProvide an efficient and effective coaching to staffNon-negotiableLISP experienceMinimum Requirement3+ year’s relevant business experience and product knowledge within a LISP3+ years’ experience in development of learning material and facilitating of training interventionsHigher Certificate in Occupational Directed Education as Training Practitioner (NQF L5) would be advantageousKnowledge of legislation i.e. FICA, FAIS, FATCA, OECD and PDD 3+ years E-learning development experiencePrevious or current training related experience in a Client Services environmentJob Type:ContractWorkplace type:HybridLocation:Cape Town, South AfricaExperience Level:Mid-Senior level
