We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with demonstrated experience working amongst Chatbots. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions using knowledge stored in ServiceNow and Microsoft Teams to present the chatbot to the user. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both platforms and a passion for innovation with an ability to drive creative solutions from a team of developers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse, design, and develop software solutions using ServiceNow and Microsoft Teams platforms following an Agile methodology Drive a team to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the project requirements Participate and be held accountable for code review and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices Continuously improve the quality and performance of the software Oversee the troubleshooting and debugging of issues in a timely manner Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow and Microsoft Teams development Ensure the software meets the project requirements, specifications, and timelines Participate in testing and deployment of the software Configure, customise and integrate ServiceNow and Microsoft Teams platforms to meet business needs We’re interested in hearing from people who possess the following Strong understanding of self-service and chatbot technology and related tools and platforms, including certification in Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure, ServiceNow and Generative AI Track record of delivering successful self-service and chatbot solutions with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong understanding of software development methodologies, coding standards and best practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively and motivate cross-functional teams Risk Mindset - All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks Working with us Our people bring their diverse backgrounds and unique perspectives to build a respectful, inclusive, and flexible workplace with flexible work locations.
