Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional Italian pizza-making techniques and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality pizzas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas from scratch using traditional methods and recipes.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with safety and health regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Assist in menu development and offer creative ideas for new pizza recipes.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional service to customers by ensuring that pizzas are presented beautifully.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role in an Italian kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of traditional Italian pizza preparation techniques and dough handling.
- Familiarity with Italian cuisine and passion for food.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
