The SQL DBA will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of the SQL Server database systems that support our business operations. Should have a thorough knowledge of SQL Server architecture, installation, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the availability, performance, and security of SQL Server database systems.Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances on Windows Server.Implement backup and recovery procedures, disaster recovery plans, and security policies.Monitor and optimize SQL Server database performance and query execution.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to support their database needs.Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools.
