Tile Mason (Tile Setter)
Job Summary:

The tile mason installs and repairs tiles to create aesthetically pleasing surfaces for floors, walls, and ceilings. They work with various materials and must possess skills in design layout, cutting, and setting tiles.

Key Responsibilities:

· Measure and mark guidelines on surfaces to ensure accurate tile placement and design.

· Use manual or electric tools to cut tiles to fit around corners and edges.

· Prepare and apply adhesive materials, ensuring proper consistency and coverage.

· Place tiles according to design specifications, adjusting for fit and alignment.

· Apply grout between tiles and seal surfaces to protect against moisture and wear.

· Remove and replace damaged tiles as needed, ensuring a seamless appearance.

· Maintain a clean work area and properly dispose of waste materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Previous experience in tile setting or a related field is preferred.

· Strong eye for design and precision in measurements and cuts.

· Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods.

· Familiarity with tile cutting and installation tools.

· Ability to address issues that arise during installation effectively.

Qualifications:

· Proven Experience as a Tile Mason or similar role.

· Strong knowledge of tile laying techniques and materials.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.

· Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.

· Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
