Job Description:
A foodstuff trading company is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, with a focus on inventory management and invoicing. We are specifically looking for candidates of Indian nationality, preferably from Kerala.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels in the warehouse.
• Prepare and issue invoices for sales and purchase transactions.
• Process returns and update stock information accordingly.
• Assist in regular inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
• Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.
• Collaborate with the finance team to support accurate financial reporting.
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding invoicing and inventory issues.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
