Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web technologies.
Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, etc.
Knowledge of common security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, PCI DSS, etc.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), etc., are highly desirable.
