Our client is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Assistant to join their team in the chemical industry. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our products and services. This individual will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and support various marketing initiatives.

• Responsible for updating and managing the databases within the company IP
• Capturing all third-party project reports and updates from relevant team members
• Post event mailers, after an event capture and update databases. Passing on any additional requests to relevant people
• Update the POPIA databases
• Capture all internal lead generation inquiries
• Online event registration, capture, filter, and report
• General marketing admin work
• Population and generation of reports on database effectiveness
• Social media, understand the basis of Meta and how to utilize their cross-platform abilities
• ADHOC requirements will be instructed in line with marketing and sales requirements
• Print and digital, from design to final production
• Brief design to be supplied or transcribed
• Arrange contractors’ workshops.
• Support the National Marketing Manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analyzing set objectives, planning, and organizing promotional presentations, and updating event details.
• Marketing and promoting the internal and external showrooms of the group
• Focus on creating awareness of the selected target audience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• 2 Years of previous experience in a marketing assistant position
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Must have a valid code 08 driver's license

Candidate Profile
• Marketing, Public Relations, Communication or Business degree
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Sales / Marketing and Communication.
• Microsoft Skllis (Microsoft Outlook, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer]-
• Good written skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in and to operate in a multi-functional operation.
• Thorough and methodical in approach with good attention to detail.
• Tenacious and able to work under extreme pressure.
• Willing to work after hours and weekends when the need arises

• Coordination and implementation of ATL communications and print.
• Facilitation of CSI projects, review of all its contracts and coordination of all activities pertaining to the execution
• Ensure that all artwork for branding, marketing collateral and print are according to the Group brand norms and standards
• Monitoring and tracking of Department marketing budget to ensure effective management thereof
• Co-ordinate internal and external communications and newsletter distribution across the organization.
• Deployment of Societal programs in line with the societal coordinator objectives
• Ensure that all marketing communication is updated on the website, internal comms, and intranet
• Effective administration and organisation for the department including filing, preparing quotes from suppliers and ensure all invoices are signed and sent for payment
• Marketing Storeroom and inventory control
• Project support on all campaigns required by the Managing Director
• Create and ensure the Marketing Activity calendar is updated monthly.
• Coordination and implementation of BTL promotions, events, exhibitions, and sponsorships

• Promotion of safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE PI`s and risk reduction strategies
