Job Opportunity: Project Manager

Position Type: Full-Time
Type of Hire: Experienced (relevant combo of work and education)

Travel Percentage: 25 - 50%

What You Will Be Doing:

Plan and coordinate all aspects of projects from initiation through delivery.
Develop, define, and execute project plans, scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
Identify necessary resources and assign project roles.
Create project charters to outline scope, critical success factors, risks, etc.
Manage the project work plan and hold the team accountable to budget and time constraints.
Interact with cross-functional teams, including sales, systems engineering, and product development.
Oversee schedules and budgets to ensure goals are met.
Ensure project requirements align with operational standards.
Coordinate activities and tasks among team members, departments, clients, and vendors to achieve project goals.
Manage project risks, issues/problems, and progress to ensure deadlines, scope, and quality are achieved.
Deliver presentations to technical and business groups, both internally and externally.
Identify process gaps and recommend solutions for project management coordination.
May require occasional travel to client sites.
Other related duties as assigned.


What You Bring:

Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Knowledge of industry project management best practices.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.
Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles.
Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry.
Knowledge of the financial services industry is preferred.
Advanced skill in project management software, such as MS Project.
Demonstrated skill in managing budgets and timelines.
Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with clients and maintain confidentiality.
