The HR Manager: Generalist Advisory will face part of the South Africa based HR Operations Hub, managing the delivery of professional HR advice and support across the full generalist HR remit.Key responsibilities include:Implement and maintain a ‘one team’ ethos to HR Generalist and Advisory support, bringing together a consolidated efficient, and appropriately consistent delivery approach across all RSA locations.Acts as the link between HR Advisory and both the; HR transactional service delivery support (in-house and outsourced), and HR Business partnering teams.Working with relevant peers to help shape HR delivery so that it adds progressive value to the business.Proactively identify skills gaps, and resourcing needs within the advisory team. Addressing these effectively and tactically in the most appropriate and suitable way.Responsible for the management and on-going review of all people policies working closely with the Senior HR Operations Manager other senior HR and business stakeholder to ensure that these remain relevant and in support of the effective management of the workforce.Assure the integrity of the HR Management System, working with line management (and budget holders where different) to ensure that all data is consistently captured through the employee starter, change and leaver processes, and that this is appropriately documented and authorised.Take ownership of the quality of all recruitment briefs, ensuring that recruiting manager recognise the value of playing an active role in shaping campaigns, and that all information and authorization is achieved up front so that this minimises delays throughout the campaign i.e. Job descriptions, evaluations, experience or technical needs, specific advertisement copy, systems design change.Ownership of the end to end employee lifecycle (performance, change, competence etc.) coaching management on best practice, and assuring appropriate risk managed outcomes are consistently achieved.Track end to end case management of all employee relations matters, making self available to provide support and technical guidance.
