We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and a strong understanding of Syspro software, which will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities:- Maintain financial records and ensure accurate financial reporting.- Manage Trial balance- Load and verify payments- Process monthly journals- Preparation and submission of VAT returns- Stock reconciliations- Prepare and analyse budgets and financial reports- Manage accounts payable and receivable- Perform bank reconciliations and month-end closing processes- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards- Assist with audits and tax preparations- Provide financial advice and support to managementRequirements:- Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance- SAIPA articles completed- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting- Experience with Syspro will be advantageous- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Deadline-driven with the ability to work both independently and in teams
