We are currently seeking highly skilledMaintenance Supervisor: Fieldto join our Maintenance Department at our Capcoal Surface Operation in Middlemount, QLD.A key part of this role you will be providing support and advice to the Maintenance team on ways to optimise equipment reliability and availability.We are seeking an applicant who possess the drive and passion to develop a culture focused on safety and efficiency that will be able to deliver optimal business results.In this crucial role, you will report directly to the Superintendent for the relevant area to provide frontline leadership in our Maintenance department.You will be required to ensure all tasks are carried out in a safe, timely and cost effective manner. Your focus on continuous improvement, strong leadership capability and knowledge of computer based maintenance programs will be necessary in this role.You will be expected to add value through developing strong team dynamics and a positive working environment.Additionally, you will support effective resource allocation (people, equipment, and resources) to meet maintenance work schedules, whilst consistently striving toachieve zero harm to employees and contractors.This role will see you lead a team of trades’ people to deliver planned and corrective maintenance while having extensive experience in mining equipment such as Draglines, Shovels, Drill’s and Excavators.You will be focused on zero harm, be driven and have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to be able to influence that stakeholder buy in.
