AsMining Superintendent (Shovels), you will be responsible for leading the production teams to achieve outstanding results through safety, culture, and productivity, leading the production crews ensuring that production targets are met.Key responsibilities include:Deliver individual and team production targets through a cooperative approach with the workforcePromote and maintain a collaborative, safe and value driven culture within the workforceEnsure that we are a plan driven organisation and that will foster a strong relationship with the technical services team to achieve the required outputsLead and develop the people resources of the Production team to create a positive team culture and ensuring maximum employee productivityPlan production needs and allocate resources to achieve utilisation and productivity targets meeting production targets within budget.You will have proven experience as a Mining Superintendent in an open cut coal operation, along with substantial operating experience, particularly with Shovels/Excavators.You will be complemented by your planning, people management and staff development skills and will have advanced leadership skills, strong computer skills, financial acumen, and contractual awareness.
