An opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Coordinator - Development at our Moranbah North Mine operation. Your role in achieving Moranbah North’s Vision is to be accountable for the delivery of the annual maintenance targets for their equipment, including providing technical advice to the Development Superintendent on means to optimise equipment availability and reliability for their particular area.Reporting to the Superintendent of Development your role will see you responsible for:Short to medium term planning and maintenance of management systems, ensuring statutory compliance is met.Managing and motivating a team of high performing trades experts who will support production by promptly attending to work orders and managing priorities efficiently.Being hands on with work orders and necessary actions to complete tasksPerforming under pressure with stretch targetsImprovement of a system and culture in which safety and health is paramount and that results in zero fatalitiesMechanical maintenance of 3 continuous miners, shuttle cars, breakers and other equipment.Driving innovation and continuous improvement across the mineAct as a role model and reinforce a workplace culture where safety and health for the site is paramountSet clear and consistent expectations.Embrace and encourage feedback, and constantly strive for improvements by engaging with teams to gain feedback and suggestions
