We are currently seeking experienced Underground Fitters for multiple permanent positions at our Aquila Mine, located in Middlemount. This role will see you responsible for completing the Longwall install maintenance tasks as a trade qualified Mechanical Fitter.The Underground Fitter is accountable for ensuring all maintenance activities undertaken are performed in line with safety and statutory requirements. You will contribute to Aquila Mine in achieving its goal of zero harm by bringing your ability to work safely and collaborate with teams in order to maximise production output and drive efficiencies.
