Job Description: Design, implement, and deploy cloud platforms AWS, PCF, ECS and other platforms to support and meet business needs; identify and recommend opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions; provide intermediate level technical support and monitor multiple cloud technology platforms efficiency through the use of monitoring tools and applications; maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of cloud software and infrastructure platforms; develop technical standards; test and evaluate IT vendor products; review configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime; train and mentor staff and IT project teams, providing guidance and consultation as required; update, write, and maintain documentation for the department; administer systems by actively managing patching, routine maintenance and backups to include the scheduling and execution of related tasks; evaluate system performance and capacity in a large distributed infrastructure environment; identify opportunities to improve system and application performance, including automating manual system tasks; provide Tier 3 level technical support for CI/CD platforms; monitor and resolve automated system cloud alerts and alarms that indicates system functions were not completed within established service levels recommends and automated monitor enhancements. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days. Requirements: Requires Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Computer Science and Information Systems, or closely related field and five years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including AWS/Cloud Engineer and/or Liferay/DevOps Portal Platform Engineer and/or Liferay Portal Platform Engineer. Background in education, training or experience must include AWS Infrastructure, CI/CD Tools, Tomcat, Jboss, Liferay Server, Python Automation, PowerShell Automation, Java, C3IoT Scripts, Liferay Scripts, Jenkins, Ant, Bamboo, Git, Team Foundation Server, Bit-bucket, Ansible, Apache, SQL, Oracle.
