Learn more about us here Overview We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in various tools and technologies to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our software delivery and deployment pipelines, ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and infrastructure. Your role will involve collaborating with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to automate and optimize the software development lifecycle. What We Offer You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration A hybrid working model with up to 60% work from home, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days; A commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement; Access to a strong network of Communities of Practice connecting you to colleagues with shared interests and values Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits Educational resources, matching gift, and volunteer programs What You’ll Do Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and other relevant tools Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Ansible and deploy, ensuring reliable and scalable deployments, while automating and streamlining processes, including build, testing, and deployment, using scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting Configure and manage cloud infrastructure, leveraging your cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address infrastructure and deployment-related challenges, as well as with team members to enhance DevOps practices, share knowledge, and promote continuous improvement Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, while monitoring and troubleshooting production environments, ensuring high availability and performance Work with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure proper utilization of resources in addition to staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps and cloud infrastructure Skills You’ll Need Strong experience with uDeploy and Ansible for deployment automation and infrastructure configuration management with proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation and scripting tasks Solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems and command-line tools with Cloud experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, and security Familiarity with Java development and understanding of Java-based applications and frameworks Hands-on experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with associated plugins and configurations Skills That Will Help You Excel Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a team Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in Cary is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
