• stimulating home furnishing interest in each localmarket
• securing a strong brand and competitive position in eachlocal market
• driving traffic to the IKEA store and IKEA website byattracting new and more visitors to visit more often, andthroughout their life stages.Key Assignments of the function:
• Contribute to IKEA by helping people to make well founded decisions, based on reliable, actionable, and timelyinsights.
• Provide consumer and market insights to contribute to IKEA's direction, strategies, and plans.
• Source, manage, and share all consumer and market data in the most efficient, reliable, and timely manner.Responsibilities:
• Obtain and Secure updated and timely information, data, and insights about the local, regional, and global marketsand consumers through both internal and external sources.
• Drive strategic analysis of the research findings and KPIs by leveraging consumer insights. In co-operation withkey stakeholders ensure that conclusions are understood and used. Build insightful future scenarios with a mainfocus on the market, competitors, consumers, and customers.
• Lead the dialogue and cooperation among all stakeholders (internal and external) who contribute to researchresults, metrics, and data. These include media agencies and suppliers of standard research such as ConsumerTracker, web/social analytics, etc.
• Provide support for competence and accessibility to the market intelligence information/insights within theorganization (e.g. service office functions and store managers).
• Plan, create, develop, and maintain a process of market monitoring and reports generating in respect to social,local, and demographic trends, and local and regional economies for each market.
• Present professional recommendations based on findings from the monitoring process and IKEA strategy.
• Identify opportunities due to changes in the market
• Identify, follow, and monitor trends, global, regional, or local, not only connected to the Home Furnishing or Retailmarkets, but connected to people. Understanding the impact these trends can have on people behaviors andaspirations
